I’ll be honest…it’s been a looooong time since I worked out on a regular basis so the fact that I joined a gym and have actually been going is quite an accomplishment for me. Sure I would throw in a few runs for good measure throughout the summer (when the weather is actually bearable in Chicago), but if I’m hoping to make major changes in my lifestyle over the next year (aka…making sure I fit into my wedding dress without starving myself and being cranky 24/7) then I need to stick with my current plan of hitting the gym 3 - 4 days per week and trying to figure out how mac & cheese and buffalo chicken calzones can work into the mix. Baby steps people….baby steps.
I’m literally bursting with excitement as I get ready for our catering tasting today and our floral showing tomorrow. I’ve attended hundreds of these meetings with my clients, but I’m most excited about sharing these moments with Nick and our families and getting the chance to focus on my own wedding for a few days. On a separate note, I may not eat for the next week after the amount of food I’m about to consume, but that’s why I joined a gym earlier this week, right? :)
